What goes into removing a tree
Every tree is different. A big oak in an open backyard is a pretty straightforward job. The same tree ten feet from your house, over a fence, with power lines nearby, is a completely different one. When the space is tight, we take the tree down in sections and lower each piece instead of dropping the whole thing. That's how a tree comes out of a small yard without touching the shed.
What affects the price
The size of the tree, how close it is to the house or other buildings, whether it's dead or alive, and how much cleanup there is. Text us a photo and we'll give you a fair number.
Dead trees are more dangerous than they look
A dead tree gets more brittle every season. Branches drop without warning, and the whole thing gets harder and riskier to take down the longer it stands. If you've got one near the house, it's worth getting it looked at.
What happens to the wood
It's up to you. We can haul it all away, or cut the logs and stack them so you've got firewood.
