How big the tree is
Bigger trees take more time, more cuts and more cleanup. A small ornamental tree and a 70-foot oak are not the same job.
Where the tree is
This one matters more than people think. A tree in the middle of an open yard can sometimes come down in one piece. The same tree next to your house or over a fence has to come down in sections, one piece at a time. That takes longer.
Dead or alive
Dead trees can be trickier. The wood is brittle and less predictable, so it takes more care to take down safely.
How much cleanup there is
We clean up every job. Hauling away all the wood costs more than cutting it into logs and stacking it for you to keep.
Watch out for storm pricing
After a big storm, a lot of companies double their prices because they can. We don't. You get the same fair price you'd get any other week.
